Join us for supper on Sundays, and enjoy our Paella - the word “paella” actually denotes an object, the thin round pan with two handles that is used to cook the dish. Paella has long been part of Spanish culture, a festive supper synonymous with having fun out in the open air of the countryside, Considerable prestige is attached to this Sunday dish, and the ceremony of its preparation is full of tradition. The paella would be cooked over a paella, a type of barbecue designed especially for cooking the dish. There is not one traditional recipe for paella, it is more of a culinary inheritance passed down through a family and it varies greatly depending on the region and availability of ingredients. Our changes slightly from week to week, but always includes saffron, arborio rice, shellfish, sausage, and chicken.
